We all are possessed of Inner Power, true self; all Pure and Perfect God or Ever-lasting Bliss by whatever name you may call it.

भीखा भूखा कोई नहीं, सब की गठरी लाल।
अपने को जानत नहीं, ताहि विधि भये कंगाल।।

That inherent Power, that true Self of ours performs the funeral rites for all our sorrows and miseries, that Power is within and not without as happiness is within and not without.

It is within our power to choose how much purity, love, beauty and spiritual joy we express not only in deeds but through our feelings, thoughts and desires, keep a pure mind and we will find the Lord ever with us, We will hear Him talking to us in the language of our heart we will glimpse Him in every flower and shrub in every blade of grass, in every passing thought.

When we take upon an inward journey through Vishvas Meditation, we perceive that there are many more wonderful realms within than without. If we but looked at our soul the all-perfect reflection of God within us, we would find all our desires satisfied. In the absence of inward joy, men turn to evil. Meditation on the God of Bliss permeates with goodness.

We are a spark of Eternal Flame. We can hide the spark by the veil of ignorance or thick layers of false ego, but can never extinguish it. Gurudev Shri Swami Vishvas Ji recites:-

ज्योत जग रही है, भीतर ज्योत जग रही है

Immense unexplored treasure lies within all of us. A diamond covered with dust is not less valuable. Within us is the pure consciousness. We are not our mistakes. We should never think of ourselves as sinners because sin and ignorance are only mortal nightmares. When we awaken in our real Self, we find that we never did anything wrong.

Our true nature is all Pure, all Bliss omni-present, omnipotent and omniscient, to condemn oneself as a sinner committed to the path of error is the greatest of all sins. “Know ye not that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells within you.” Wherever we see that a down trodden man weeps and wails for help from somewhere above the skies, it is because he does not know the skies are in him. He wants help from the skies and the help comes. It comes from within himself but he mistakes it as coming from outside.

A sick man lying on bed hears a tap on the door. He opens the door and finds not one there. He goes back to bed and again hears a tap. He gets up and opens the door. Again he finds none there. Then he finds that it was his own heart-beat which he fancied was a knock at the door. After vain search of gods, bliss and happiness outside oneself, a man finds that God whom he was searching for in hill and dale, whom he was searching in every brook, every temple, in churches and heaven is his own self.

I am He and He is I. none but I was God and this little ‘I’ never existed.

जब अपने ही दिल में खुदाई है, काबा में सजदा कौन करे

Unfortunately this little ‘I’ pony ego had covered our inner true Self. Its existence is in the outer world. It doesn’t let us recognize our Inner Power and we consider ourselves helpless downtrodden creatures being crushed under the wheels of time, space and causation.

The Inner Power is all Powerful and knows no limitations. It is all Existent All knowledge and All Bliss. It is omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient. Limitation comes in manifestation. Water is limited in jars, jugs, cups and pots but the water in the ocean is unlimited. Name and form limit the immense unlimited, blissful power which is within all of us.

Mediation removes the veil of name and form and provides the Power which is within all of us. Listen to the uttering full of devotion of Gurudev Shri Swami Vishvas Ji.

तेरी याद में रो लेना, ये प्यास हमारी है।
विरह का इक आँसू, सौ सजदों पे भारी है।।

Crying spontaneously in meditation out of deep devotion for you is our insatiable thirst and a tear drop is much more valuable than bowing down hundred times.

It is the valuable experience of the aspirants and devotees that this spontaneous tear drop is a source of immense bliss and perfect peace whereas normally in life tears roll down the cheeks in suffering and stress when peace of mind is completely shattered.

When mind is calm in deep meditation or we go beyond mind, we realize our own real Self. We realize that mines of Power lie unexplored within us. Of course unruffled patience is required for that. The moons reflection cannot be seen clearly in ruffled water but when the water’s surface is calm, a perfect reflection of moon appears. So with the mind when it is calm, when we go beyond it in meditation, we see clearly the reflected mooned face of the Soul.

When through meditation, restless and unnecessary thoughts evaporate from the lake of mind; we behold our soul, a perfect reflection of self and realize that the Soul and God are one. Self-realisation is knowing in body, mind and soul – that we are one with the omnipresence of Self. God’s omnipresence is our omnipresence. Behind the light in every little bulb is a great dynamic current beneath every little wave is the vast ocean which has become many waves.
